"My personal scope of practice is focused on animal-assisted work, guided by the Heart-Centered Animal Assisted Practices program. While I offer support and intervention through animal-assisted practices, I recognize the limitations of my scope of practice:
I do not offer medical or psychological treatment to humans.
I do not exploit animals in any way.
I seek supervision when clients have severe mental health conditions, express suicidal ideation, or self-harm, have experienced trauma or have PTSD, struggle with addiction or substance abuse, or face complex relationship and family issues.
I refer clients to qualified professionals in the aforementioned situations.
My qualifications meet the requirements for HCAAP certification, comprising 100 hours of learning completion for Level 1 and Level 2 each, accompanied by a supervised practicum in Level 2, totalling 200+ hours of training".
